I haven't been this excited about anything in a long time! My friend got this proteas as a gift and it was so beautiful to me, especially the light moving through the vase. I just had to paint it. Well, after a whole day of preparation and the move with all my things to her house, the idea started to take hold. Different cloths, tables and lighting and after that and then the painting started. The light that moves through the glass is the focus, especially the part where it first catches the vase...
